Choose from one of these three brands to create your content

Acme Outdoor

Acme outdoor is an outdoor retailer with marketing that focuses on adventure. Their brand voice is inspirational and their color palette is earthy.

Their marketing goals include capturing more email addresses on their website in exchange for offers and getting sign ups for their membership program.

Zembula Air

Zembula Air is an regional airline with a marketing tone that hits somewhere between inciting the fear of missing out and being aspirational. Their color pallet is cool.

Their marketing goals include capturing exiting visitors and building their email lists by offering early access to sales.

Zembula Software

Zembula is a interactive marketing software company that is conversational and fun. Their colors are bright and they use lots of gradients and icons.

Their primary marketing goal is to capture leads on their website with fun and educational experiences. They are also trying to build their newsletter email list.

Choose your brand and download the assets

Next, choose which campaign deployment you will create

The two types of campaign deployments you have to choose from:

Slide-in email capture: A Slide-in email capture is an interactive experience that slides in on the right hand bottom corner of a website.

Exit intent overlay email capture: An exit intent overlay is essentially a light-box pop-up that is triggered when someone tries to exit the page.

Then, the fun part – create your experience!

Here’s how to create your experience:

  1. Choose a brand and focus on one of their marketing goals.
  2. Choose the campaign deployment type: Slide-in or exit intent overlay.
  3. Create two images that are 900x900 pixels. One will be the cover image, the other will be the reveal. Users will interact with your experience by scratching, sliding, peeling, etc., to remove the cover image and show your reveal image. Here is a tutorial on how to design your experience, and here is one on how to build it once you've done that. You can see examples of all the experience types here.
  4. Choose your interaction type and upload your designs into the platform to create your experience.. Make sure you select customer acquisition as your redeem type to populate the email capture, and add compelling copy for your Call to Action.
  5. Publish your experience and email it to marketing@zembula.com along with your name and your campaign deployment type before July 3rd.

Here’s the nitty gritty:

  • Each participant must use one of the three brands provided by us below when creating their experience. You will find downloadable brand assets including logo and mock-up web pages here.
  • Each participant will be set up with a free Zembula account for the duration of the challenge and it will be canceled once the challenge concludes. Click the button below then fill out the form on the following page to get started.
  • Each participant gets one entry. The link must be sent to marketing@zembula.com by July 3rd at midnight PST along with your name and they type of campaign you are submitting for.
  • The Fine Print: All your work must be your original work and by submitting it you are giving Zembula the right to use your work for promotions and/or educational purposes.
